2010 Mustang
Convertible

This is Revell's newly released snap kit.

My guess is that some of the tooling may be based on the glue kit, but a lot of it looks like all new tooling. Most everything is bagged separately.
The body is molded in metallic gold, which is probably supposed to represent Mustang's Sunset Gold metallic.

The black plastic chassis is a one piece unit with all undercarriage detail molded in place. It attaches with four screws. Tires are the same generic ones found in other Revell Mustang kits. There are two metal axles, very reminiscent of early 3-in-1 kits.

The interior parts are also molded in black. Side panels are separate, and the front seats are two pieces, which will need some filling and sanding.

Clear parts include the windshield, dashboard insert, and one piece front light assembly. The taillight assembly is also a one piece part, molded in red.

The chrome trees are very simple.

Rather than decals, the kit includes a sheet of stickers.
